This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data processed by Lumedi.

If you become a member of Lumedi, [make a donation] or provide personal data to Lumedi for any other reason, you expressly consent to the processing of your personal data in line with this Privacy Policy.

2. What data does Lumedi process and for what purpose?

2.1 In the context of your purchase, the following personal data are processed:

4. d) other personal characteristics that may be required for our organisation such as social media accounts.

2.2 Lumedi processes the personal data referred to under 2.1 as follows:

1. a) your name, address, telephone number and email address are used to contact you about membership and termination of membership, to register and deregister for third-party certifications, to provide you with requested information or to process information obtained from you,
2. b) your name, address details and telephone number are used to send invitations and information about Lumedi services and activities;
3. c) your name and bank account number will be used to settle payments of, for example, membership fees, courses, training, orders, and services purchased.

2.3 Your name and telephone number will be used for up to one year after the end of the agreement to ask you about your experiences with Lumedi and to inform you about Lumedi developments. 

Email messaging (opt-out):

Lumi Ledtree will use your name and email address to send you its email newsletter with information about activities, services and other interesting information about Lumedi. Unsubscribing to these mailings is possible at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the mailing.

3. Retention periods

Lumedi processes and saves your personal data for a period of 7 years. Personal data will then be destroyed.

4. Security measures and processors

4.1 To protect your personal data, Lumedi has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures.

4.2 Lumedi uses the services of third parties, so-called processors, to process personal data. We have a processor agreement with the processor.

5. Right of inspection, deletion and complaints

5.1 Via Lumedi’s member administration, you can submit a request to view, receive, change or remove your personal data. Lumedi will process your request and inform you within one month after receipt.

5.2 If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your personal data as referred to in Article 2, you can also contact the member administration.

5.3 If you have any complaints about the way Lumedi processes your personal data or handles your requests, you can contact the Data Protection Officer.
